One on One English Lessons - Anytime/Anywhere

MANABI connects students in Japan with native English speaking teachers around the world, based on student-designated criteria. Internet and telephone figure prominently in our model which allows students and teachers to connect with one another based on interests, proficiency, learning goals, price, performance and schedule availability.

Teach at Home? No Commuting! All lessons are conducted over the phone. Students will look into your profile, your course offerings and book your time slots over the internet. You will be able to use your time positively and effectively at your own home.	Work a second job or part-time! Because of the time differential, you will be able to work for MANABI as a second job or part-time. The heavily demanded lesson times are mostly in early morning (US time) and late afternoon.
Set your own price per lesson! Manabi's business model allows teachers to compete with one another. Students will see how other students rated you. Good ratings will attract more students which allows you to increase your price per lesson rate. You should start by setting a low rate to gain reputation from students.	Enjoy Cross-Cultural Exchange! Most of our teachers have actually lived and taught in Japan for several years. MANABI will allow you to reconnect with Japanese people and demonstrate your teaching proficiency.
